Swimming Pools
Wairakei Resort Hotel boasts two outdoor swimming pools, both geothermally heated to provide a lovely dip year-round.
A few morning laps in our larger pool – what a great way to start the day during your Taupo holiday. The larger pool is set in a green valley, surrounded by mature trees and is located in the same place as the original hotel pool from the early 1900s.
Our luxury Taupo hotel’s lagoon pool is a lovely spot to spend a few hours having a refreshing dip, resting under the sun on a lounger, having another dip, drying out again….
The lagoon pool area has many large tables with sun umbrellas and refreshments to enjoy at our pool-side On the Rocks bar, located close by within our Taupo hotel accommodation’s complex.
Spa Pools
When your body calls for ultimate relaxation, our six spa pools await – luxuriously warm and ready to massage you with jets and bubbles.
Each spa is located in its own room, with plenty of space around you and nothing but the stars above. Guests are welcome to enjoy a free spa anytime.
